Hinge Repair & Replacement
The hinges on a gate leaf are vital in the longevity and functionality of a motorized gate operator. Without proper maintenance, over time the hinge bearings will flatten and cease to create separation in the hinge connection. This leads to not only noise and irritation whenever the gate moves, but will also cause more exertion of force for the operator’s motor to move the gate leaf causing undue wear on the operator and any moving parts. Left long enough, the hinges will likely seize and no longer allow the gate to open and operator failure!
